Data Formats

The data formats are as follows:

Stage 1: Spectrum type

Type 1 Hot Jupiter, isothermal T-p profile, H2O + CO, cloud free
Type 2 Hot Jupiter, isothermal T-p profile, H2O + CO, simple grey cloud deck
Type 3 Mini Neptune, isothermal T-p profile, H2O + CH4, cloud free

Download formats

The data will be provided in a single zip file. Inside the zip file, the spectra will be labelled according to their type (see above) and whether blind or non-blind. The parameters for the non-blind cases will be given in an the readme file.

The format of the spectra will be ascii files with two columns: Wavelength (); Transit/eclipse depth or ; Ariel Error bar and Ariel bin-width

Upload formats

Please upload your spectra as single ascii files in the following format:
- Columns: Wavelength (), or

The spectra should be high-resolution (R > 300) as they will be binned to the Ariel grid by the website. This ensures consistency in comparison.

Please upload your retrieved parameters as single ascii files in the following format (3 columns, 8 rows):
- Columns: Parameter value, Lower error bound, Upper error bound
- Rows: , , , , , (bar), Temperature (K), Planet Radius (Rj)
